I have tried...but I did not succeed to translate this poem into English. The translation does not reflect at all the atmosphere and the deeper meanings neither the purpose of what I meant.
I challenge anyone to come with a decent translation that reflects as much as possible the original text.
I'm willing to cooperate fully to get the job done because this is probably one of my most beloved writings.
I hope someone feels the urge to translate it into Spanish... I would love to hear and read it in the language of Cervantes, Borges and Neruda...

a virgin sheet
- white if you want-
that slowly
word by word
line after line
fills
with a major love.
Imagine
the magic of the letters which become
the witnesses of ideas transformed into writing.
I am only entitled to this one page,
as I'm only entitled one life.
This page which fills
with unexplained words
that one can erase…
Yes, the words
but not the thoughts.
Is this my heart which inflates or the arteries of my brain?
My sorrow tires my breath
My respiration is transformed into yelling.
Imagine
the howl of a wounded animal
echoing
filling the paper…
I erase.
Imagine
in which strange state my body rises at dawn
after having desired your skin in an unhealthy dream.
Imagine
that still always,
I think without respite,
to dive in your eyes
as in a mysterious ocean.
Is it a crime to admire your beauty?
I am astonished that in spite of it
you perspires an unsuspected
kindness.
I pose my glance on this sheet as formerly I let it plane on you

It is paining
my heart
not being able
to see you
but in my imagination
or to read you
in some sentences
which sometimes reach me
through the oceans
and causes me to
rant and bark of an unknown sadness.
And if I send you this sheet as a paper boat
-exposed to the whims of the waves and the wind-
could you imagine

and guess the erased lines
knowingly unreadable
